Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a set of practices aimed at making websites rank in the search engines. While there are at least three search engines that we know of – Google, Yahoo, and Bing! – most, if not all, SEO efforts aim at ranking on Google.

Let us briefly explain each factor. Keyword density is nothing more than the target keyphrase being mentioned in the content a certain number of times. LSI are related keywords mentioned in the content. Strong inner link building means the web page you are trying to rank for has the other pages of the website linking to it. Bounce rate means the percentage of visitors who click on the X button or back button after viewing only one page. Your website’s bounce rate has to be low to rank.

When it comes to off-site optimization, some of the factors that will help you rank are links from authority sites that have relevant content, and social media links. As we said, there are around 200 factors for ranking on Google, and that information is not public. However, all these 200 factors help to determine only two factors: RELEVANCE and AUTHORITY.
